In 2017, Chef Dee embarked on a new venture, establishing his own catering company named Dee's BackDoor Kitchen, marking the beginning of a legacy.

Initially, Chef Dee and his older brother operated out of their apartment, selling delectable barbecue and wing plates. With time, Chef Dee's culinary skills and business acumen grew, and he soon expanded his services to several states including AL, MS, GA, and TN.
